I made the call and got the same answer.
I replied that since he is ignoring us perhaps we will do the same the next time he runs.
Their response was to add me to the "Town Hall List"
I have sent Obama Nelson many, many emails on hot topics, only to get the Dem Party line in response.

How about WE have our own town hall and start a recall of Senator Bill Nelson.... He has been on the wrong side of nearly EVERY issue and voted down the line of the "Progressive Party" (Obama's words, not mine). He is Obama with a tie. Let's fire Nelson.

I phoned Senator Nelson's local office, over two weeks ago, and was told that there were NO town halls scheduled. I asked the staff member if Senator Nelson could schedule one. The answer to that was to take my name and phone number so as to inform me if and when there was a town hall.

The lack of accountability, common sense, and integrity most state senators exhibit combined with their acquiescence to party line votes and federal interference in states rights and sovereignty supports the necessity of repealing the 17th amendment.

I recently received an e mail newsletter from Senator Bill Nelson that said he was having Town Hall Meetings all over the state and he was hearing from his constitutents. I e mailed him back and advised him that I had been receiving his updates and never heard about any Town Hall Meetings. All I got back over a week later was the standard " Thank You" e mail. Never heard about any Town Hall from Corrine Brown either.
The DEMS are not holding Town Halls because they do not want to face the people.

Politicians, in their shortsightedness, thought we'd have forgotten about this by now. They are disconnected from the people, and even from reality. Most may not have realized that just as election time rolls around, we're getting information from our insurers on benefits cuts and cost increases - all due to the national health care law.

The peasants are restless and rowdy, LOL, the high lords and ladies never expected it.
I've thought all along, for decades, that we should be out in the streets raising Hell on a regular basis.
We will have to keep fighting after November too or some of our new "leaders" are going to slide left where it's warm and cozy. The go along to get along virus is hard for them to resist.

These cowards aren't about to show up at a Town Hall - there's been enough of them embarassed by their own incompetence in front of constituents that will not see them anymore. They will stay in their DC condos, ride in their armored SUVs to their offices, parties, restaurants and their private jets and you will only see their smiling mugs on TV ads begging for your vote. Out with the incumbents now!

You are so right Billy. The only town halls I have had has bee with Mica on the phone. You can go to his web site and sign up for phone town halls, but they do not want to face us. I pretty muched begged Mica to stop Congress from ignoring our Constitution, but all I received was a sad speech. Maybe we should get some buses to go to all of our local representatives as well. I wish like all of us, they would listen.
