Ladies and Gentlemen: We are presently in Washington, DC for a Values Voter Summit. Values Voters Summit is made up of Conservative organizations who come together to learn from each other.
During our stay we have been with many who went to the Occupy DC "March" just to see what was going on. To see it first hand is to watch an organized group of communists, thugs and mis-guided people shout about things they do not even understand. It has been revealed this am that Van Jones PAID for hispanics to carry signs which they could not read or understand.
Nancy Pelosi said the Tea Party Movement was astroturf and today we call her out about that statement. This Occupy Protest IS Astroturf and manufactured by the left to ensure Obama gets re-elected. The people who are showing up are violent and have damaged property and hurt other people. This is escalating and although we laugh at these people because they can't even say why they are there -- we urge our members to be careful and stay away from these "so called protests."
We have watched our blogs and one or two in this tea party are stating they will go to these protests and stand with these Communists. Let it be known that should you do that - you do not represent the tea party movement. You are there as individuals and you have no authority to speak on behalf of the First Coast Tea Party. We also question if you are a true tea party believer or if you are in here solely as a mole for your own personal beliefs.
In no way would tea party members stand with Communists - they are the complete opposite of who we are.
Go to their website at www.occupywallstreet.org and you can see the names of the organizations behind this uprising. Do we stand with these people or these organizations?
God bless you and stay safe.

Marxists have always worked by exploiting every little inequality of society, either perceived or actual. They are doing it now, race against race, wealthy against less wealthy. The powers behind the effort are not doing it for you, me, the kids sleeping out on Wall Street, they are doing it because they lust for power, absolute power.
Folks I'm not wealthy. Most of you might laugh if you knew what my lifetime income amounted to, you might have spent more on shoes. When I first became involved with the Tea Party Movement I made it clear that my interest wasn't "fiscal only". I'm here for the freedom thing, and the demonstrators in NYC and elsewhere, and those faceless tyrants behind them are a threat to that. If "Taxed enough Already" is our only issue I don't fit here.
If you're going to get suckered in by George Soros I can't stop you but don't try to pull me down too!
@Patricia
We don't need them that is were I think you are wrong we were doing just fine without the GOP.
I will support Ron Paul and he is not elected I will probably write him in. I can't vote for the lesser of two evils anymore I will vote for the man or women I think is best for the job. I'm tired of simply voting against someone I am going to vote for someone I believe in this time and the only one is Ron Paul. I will not trade one that wants to be an oppressor for someone else that wants to be an oppressor just in a different way. The others in the field I don't see as wanting to defend the Constitution much more then Obama. Ron Paul has a consistent voting record and EVERYTHING that he supports lines up with the Constitution not with party lines. The rest of them use the Constitution when it fits their needs just like Obama.
I'm not sure if you are talking about me when you talk about people on this site because I am usually in the minority when I express my views. I'm not trying to cause any problems I'm simply expressing my feelings about what I believe are the problems and solutions to this countries ills.
I said I was not going to argue with people so I'm not going to talk about the protestors I have made my view on them and what I think they are fighting for clear.
The banks also got rich while they where making loans. Then the banks got even richer after the bottom fell out with our tax money. The housing was just the catalyst to the problem the problem is way more intricate then just the housing issue. The Fed comes into play as well when you talk about anything to do with the banking industry or money as a whole. That is why many say that the Fed is the root cause of the problem. They control prices, inflation, control money supply (That is tied to inflation), loan money to the government of not only this country but countries around the world.
Even Herman Cain realizes they they are part of the problem, while he won't acknowledge quite how much. As he explains it the Fed used to only have one mandate and in the 70's it got expanded to a section mandate on top of the first one and the two mandates are impossible to control at the same time. I'm sorry I don't remember what he said the different mandates are or exactly why they conflict. It was an interview he did with WeAreChange. If anyone is interested I will find it when i get home.
I invite everyone here to read or re-read Thoreau's On Civil Disobedience. Here is why I post here, not elsewhere.
Practically speaking, the opponents to a reform in Massachusetts are not a hundred thousand politicians at the South, but a hundred thousand merchants and farmers here, who are more interested in commerce and agriculture than they are in humanity, and are not prepared to do justice to the slave and to Mexico, cost what it may. I quarrel not with far-off foes, but with those who, near at home, co-operate with, and do the bidding of those far away, and without whom the latter would be harmless. We are accustomed to say, that the mass of men are unprepared; but improvement is slow, because the few are not materially wiser or better than the many. It is not so important that many should be as good as you, as that there be some absolute goodness somewhere; for that will leaven the whole lump.(15) There are thousands who are in opinion opposed to slavery and to the war, who yet in effect do nothing to put an end to them; who, esteeming themselves children of Washington and Franklin, sit down with their hands in their pockets, and say that they know not what to do, and do nothing; who even postpone the question of freedom to the question of free-trade, and quietly read the prices-current along with the latest advices from Mexico, after dinner, and, it may be, fall asleep over them both. What is the price-current of an honest man and patriot to-day? They hesitate, and they regret, and sometimes they petition; but they do nothing in earnest and with effect. They will wait, well disposed, for others to remedy the evil, that they may no longer have it to regret. At most, they give only a cheap vote, and a feeble countenance and Godspeed, to the right, as it goes by them. There are nine hundred and ninety-nine patrons of virtue to one virtuous man; but it is easier to deal with the real possessor of a thing than with the temporary guardian of it.
William, you say, " I stand with liberty." Great me too. But in some ways it is a zero sum game. Someone has to pay. Over the last thirty years or so it has been the working class, they have been paying all the bills. Poor people don't make enough to qualify to pay taxes. US corporations have 70,000 pages of loopholes built into the tax code, so they don't pay. Banks have never paid. Hedge fund operators pay half the rate I do yet their income exceeds mine a thousand times over. So yes at some point you have to pick sides. And I am standing with the working man.
If there was one message that I hear from these protestors it would be this-Respect.
Have some respect for the little guy.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
