Ladies and Gentlemen:  We are presently in Washington, DC for a Values Voter Summit.  Values Voters Summit is made up of Conservative organizations who come together to learn from each other.

During our stay we have been with many who went to the Occupy DC "March" just to see what was going on.   To see it first hand is to watch an organized group of communists, thugs and mis-guided people shout about things they do not even understand.  It has been revealed this am that Van Jones PAID for hispanics to carry signs which they could not read or understand.

Nancy Pelosi said the Tea Party Movement was astroturf and today we call her out about that statement.  This Occupy Protest IS Astroturf and manufactured by the left to ensure Obama gets re-elected.   The people who are showing up are violent and have damaged property and hurt other people.  This is escalating and although we laugh at these people because they can't even say why they are there  -- we urge our members to be careful and stay away from these "so called protests."

We have watched our blogs and one or two in this tea party are stating they will go to these protests and stand with these Communists.  Let it be known that should you do that - you do not represent the tea party movement.  You are there as individuals and you have no authority to speak on behalf of the First Coast Tea Party.  We also question if you are a true tea party believer or if you are in here solely as a mole for your own personal beliefs.

In no way would tea party members stand with Communists - they are the complete opposite of who we are.

Go to their website at www.occupywallstreet.org and you can see the names of the organizations behind this uprising.  Do we stand with these people or these organizations?

God bless you and stay safe.

These young people have watched what has happened over the last 3 years:  TARP bailouts, Citizens United, and SuperPacs and are probably thinking that there is no way that generation will get ahead.  They also see that over 2/3 of the federal budget is spent on medicare and think:  this country is bankrupt, morally and financially, they've got no shot at the brass ring unless daddy has the connection to get them a job; the big lie of "get a college education and get ahead" is merely a useless degree with staggering debt.  They realize they will be the ones to clean up the mess that the baby boomers have created.  And they would be right.  Where the tea party sees the government as the problem, this group sees a government bought and paid for by corporate America; the government won't do anything because they've been paid to do nothing, so what's the point in rallying in D.C. when the real money, the real power is right there in NYC.  What should we expect from these young people?  Gratitude for inheiriting a country deep in debt with no prospects for a bright future for them?

Michael, you are wrong profit is not good or bad, in and of itself it has no morals.

If a drug dealer turns a profit is that good? If a hired killer makes a profit is that good?

Or if a corporation makes a profit from selling it's products to a country that uses those products to profit themselves and then use those profits to attack your ally, is that profit good?

Money and profits are amoral. The means to derive them and what they are used for afterwards is what has morality attached.

For anyone that says the protestors have no actual demands here you go straight from their site.

http://occupywallst.org/forum/specific-demand-and-action-list-for-w...

You don't hear the demands on TV that doesn't mean they don't have them.  Again don't let the MSM dictate what you think about things.

I would like to clarify one of my comments. when I called the protesters useful idiots I put the word useful in there to be generous.

@Tim

What we have in our country today is nothing that resembles liberty.  We have the beginning of a police state that is only getting worse by the day.  We have corporations that buy our politicians threw campaign contributions.  Those same politicians that are bought by the corporations pass laws that help the corporation and screw over the American public.  Dodd and Frank with the housing.  Dodd with banking regulations that in the end help the banks and screw us the people.  The politicians then go behind the problem they cause and pass more laws that further screw us and help they big campaign finances.   How is that any sembelece of freedom or liberty.

I am not saying that these protestors have it right because some of them are off and don't understand much of anything but to dismiss all of them as useful idiots is ignorant.  Also the MSM puts the ones on the TV that they want you to see everyone here should be dialed in enough to know that the media steers things.

I do see how this movement can, and in the end probably will, be used to further the growing police state especially now with the inclusion of the unions but again I am more defending the idea which is a just and valid message.  I am defending the protestors in regards to people painting all of them as idiots and also against the ones that are saying how they are violent (like Mrs. Tucker).  There has been more violence towards the protestors from the police then the other way around.

@ Amanda Choate,

Your perspective is unique.  However, these activities occurring across the nation have as much similarity with the tea party movement as water has with oil.  Water and oil may be liquids, but their distinguishing properties have no similarities.  The Tea Party movement is made up of people, as is the current occupying movement, this is the similarity.

Amanda;

You go to great lengths to make  the Tea Party to the mob on Wall Street morally equivalent. The only comparison is that both groups are outdoors and both groups carry signs. The Tea Party has been clear about our goals: a return to Constitutional government, rule of law, and an admiration for America's heritage of personal liberty. The mob on Wall street has no coherent message other than they want to shut down Wall street, and they threaten violence. They are a nasty bigoted group. Yesterday, an old Orthodox Jew suggested to one of the young men that he get a job. The protester reply: "You're a bum, Jew."

The Tea Party has nothing to do with people like this.

Perhaps we should consider the action that the Oath Keepers are planning... As many of you know the Oath Keepers are a Pro-Constitution group of military and law enforcement veterans who have pledged to uphold their constitutional duty. Many are Tea Party members… Please consider the following excerpt from their website today:

Oath Keepers is planning to “Occupy The Fed Now!” and publicize this to remind the Occupy Wall Street people that the Fed is the source problem, without which the Wall Street criminals would be set back a hundred years.

Oath Keepers To Occupy The Occupation!

Oath Keepers is not going to stand idly by and watch the Soros socialist/collectivist/Big Government crowd claim these newly-awakening Americans as their own. From Michael Moore to a host of other Big Government statists, the Soros faction is trying now to steal the people's thunder, just the way the Republican Party tried to steal the Tea Party's thunder by co-opting the Tea Party.

Mr. Dungan

The 'obummber useful idiots' started protesting due to the corruption that exist between lobbyists, wall street, political money which has caused record profits at the same time they are lying people off.  That is what it has to do with.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
