WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECK: We're mad as heck at the TU and we need your help

As you will remember - the First Coast Tea Party leadership council voted to endorse 3 candidates in this election. We chose to focus on the Governor's race because it will be a determining factor in getting our economy in Florida moving again through creating a "Friend to Jobs" environment. The Governor will also be involved in the redistricting process and we did not want a Democrat in charge of that. It is too dangerous to put that responsibility into the hands of the left.

We endorsed Rick Scott after we did our homework and discovered the truth about the misinformation by the media regarding the medicare fraud issue. The tea party leaders across Florida who during the primary had been split on their candidate endorsements came together as a group and endorsed Rick as well. The tea party does not give endorsements lightly and we are proud to stand with Rick because we have done our homework. Do you trust us to do our homework and stand on principles? We hope so because we have done everything we can to prove that to you.

Our local paper - The Florida Times Union has done a hit job in the last week on Rick and his running mate, Jennifer Carroll. It has been devious and we are calling them out! Check out the Gulf Coast Business Review in their article - The Real Rick Scott - and the picture is vastly different. This is the picture the tea party members and leaders uncovered and this is the one we encourage you to read.

We need help to shutdown the TU's affect and we need it today and tomorrow. Here's what we are going to ask of you:

1. Print out copies of the Gulf Coast article and have them available for anyone who thinks Rick is a crook.

2. Rick's campaign really needs to have volunteers wave signs. Please call Matt at (954) 643-4577 or our office at 683-3945.

3. Times needed for Waving Signs - Today from 4-6 pm, tomorrow morning from 7-9 am, and tomorrow evening from 4-6 pm.

Also, Rick is going to be sign waiving at St. Johns Bluff and Beach Blvd tomorrow - Election Day -- at 11:00. Come stand with Rick Scott and stand up against the Liberal Media.

Let's show them we mean business and let's get to work!

AFTER THIS IS ALL OVER -- WE WILL CREATE A TEAM OF LOCAL TEA PARTY MEMBERS WHO WILL WANT TO HELP US HOLD THE MEDIA ACCOUNTABLE. IT'S TIME TO DO THAT AND WE WILL! (P.S. - TU if you are reading this blog - you should be ashamed of yourself. How about printing the Real Rick Scott article in tomorrow's paper? We're sure the Gulf Coast Business Review would let you publish it.)

Funny how John complains, criticizes and belittles this group with consistancy (probably the only constant I've seen in his posts ever) and then places himself on a lofty perch above the rest of the group (see snide remarks below)but he never ever wants to leave here.If we're so kooky and full of it you'd think he'd find a new group to take his enormous ego too.
I wonder how much is the DNC paying for the tremendous don't get out the vote effort on his part.

>"BTW Morgan, I am not proud to be misled, I think it is reprehensible for news orginizations to prepare stories in a way that shield us from the truth. The whole truth. They are an important part of this whole experiment in democracy."

It's not very often that you and I agree, but I liked your post.
I only have one bone to pick with it. America isn't an "experiment in democracy." We are an amazing experiment in representative self rule. America is a Republic, built on the rule of law. I'm not picking nits, the difference is HUGE!

This 10 minute video is a FANTASTIC primer for those who want to understand basic forms of government!

"Hey Morgan, Rick never sat in front of ONE member of the press to give an interview. Not one."

I don't blame him ONE BIT! All of them endorsed an unqualified community agitator over a very senior senator in the last Presidential election, so Rick KNEW that the editorial boards would be a total waste of his time. I'm no big fan of McCain, but he was FAR more qualified than the agitator to be President, so maybe you could explain to me why he'd talk to the local cat box liner?

Hey John, congratulations! It's not very often that we run into someone who's PROUD to be mislead by a biased media. Some of us get a little tired of it. As for the fatty, don't get caught. I suggest you pick up the pizza and ice cream FIRST. Have fun voting for Sink.

The school of Journalism has gone downhill, where is the ethics? It's headlines that will sell most papers, it's all sensationalism BS that makes the money.

Good for you Billie! I'm working on getting some people out there tomorrow at 11 to wave signs with Rick. What an honor!

As for our local cat box liner (the TU)...they still think Ron Littlepage is a great columnist. LOL! What more is there to say (click)? I'd LOVE to one one of the group to help hold the local media accountable. :-)

Sad - it seems all of the "traditional medias" are gone the way of liberal ruin

I have been waving signs for Rick last week and will be still doing it today on SR200 and Miner Rd in Yulee as well as at the polling place accross WalMart tomorrow morning, noon and evening. People should remember that besides turning the economy around, the governor is also responsible for appointing judges and is also in charge of the National Guards. In that instance, what side do you think a democrat governor would be in case of martial law called from D.C. ?

don't need the TU, it would be nice but they refuse to report.

I would pass them out/sell them ( :-)) with explicit directions that they are NOT to be put on Times Union newspaper dispensers!! ;-)

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
