WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECK: We're mad as heck at the TU and we need your help

As you will remember - the First Coast Tea Party leadership council voted to endorse 3 candidates in this election. We chose to focus on the Governor's race because it will be a determining factor in getting our economy in Florida moving again through creating a "Friend to Jobs" environment. The Governor will also be involved in the redistricting process and we did not want a Democrat in charge of that. It is too dangerous to put that responsibility into the hands of the left.

We endorsed Rick Scott after we did our homework and discovered the truth about the misinformation by the media regarding the medicare fraud issue. The tea party leaders across Florida who during the primary had been split on their candidate endorsements came together as a group and endorsed Rick as well. The tea party does not give endorsements lightly and we are proud to stand with Rick because we have done our homework. Do you trust us to do our homework and stand on principles? We hope so because we have done everything we can to prove that to you.

Our local paper - The Florida Times Union has done a hit job in the last week on Rick and his running mate, Jennifer Carroll. It has been devious and we are calling them out! Check out the Gulf Coast Business Review in their article - The Real Rick Scott - and the picture is vastly different. This is the picture the tea party members and leaders uncovered and this is the one we encourage you to read.

We need help to shutdown the TU's affect and we need it today and tomorrow. Here's what we are going to ask of you:

1. Print out copies of the Gulf Coast article and have them available for anyone who thinks Rick is a crook.

2. Rick's campaign really needs to have volunteers wave signs. Please call Matt at (954) 643-4577 or our office at 683-3945.

3. Times needed for Waving Signs - Today from 4-6 pm, tomorrow morning from 7-9 am, and tomorrow evening from 4-6 pm.

Also, Rick is going to be sign waiving at St. Johns Bluff and Beach Blvd tomorrow - Election Day -- at 11:00. Come stand with Rick Scott and stand up against the Liberal Media.

Let's show them we mean business and let's get to work!

AFTER THIS IS ALL OVER -- WE WILL CREATE A TEAM OF LOCAL TEA PARTY MEMBERS WHO WILL WANT TO HELP US HOLD THE MEDIA ACCOUNTABLE. IT'S TIME TO DO THAT AND WE WILL! (P.S. - TU if you are reading this blog - you should be ashamed of yourself. How about printing the Real Rick Scott article in tomorrow's paper? We're sure the Gulf Coast Business Review would let you publish it.)

Who calls the shots at the TU? Oh yes, we have a name, but the Power Elite tells the TU what to print and how to print it. This same group wants more government, and more control. We expect the TU, along with all organized media, particularly in the First Coast Area to continue with more of the same, more false information. We wish that we had a wonderful paper, but we don't. Just think what it would be like to have a paper that wanted to adhere to the U.S. Constitution, wants a monetary policy, where the US Dollar is backed by Gold and Silver, seeks to incorporate the Federal Reserve within the Dept of Treasury, where it could be audited, seeks immediate Tariff's on all things imported into the US; that are already Made in America.

The Council on Foreign Relations and there leadership have sold America out. We don't know where it is going to lead, but we know we are not taking there "one world currency", "one world government", without a fight.

I get 2 calls a week from the TIMES UNION trying to get me to subscribe, another good reason not to read that rag.. Go FOX NEWS!

Maryanna, the TU readership is down and they are having a few financial troubles of their own. Guess they are hoping Sink and Obama will help the media out? Don't know but some of the stuff they are running about all the candidates is a travesty. The Sink article talks about her honesty (guess the folks at the TU missed her reading the phone message at the last debate huh?)

John - go away. You are not informed and I am not going to put up with your comments today. I'm not in the mood for your negativity. Go find another place to blog.

The TU is a rag. We dropped them over 2 years ago. If everyone would consider stopping their subscription, that would get their attention.

We need sign holders today beginning at 4:00 too.
Call Mark and see what he has.

The TU used to be a lot more conservative. They seem to have been taken over by liberals in the past few years - more and more. Littlepage is a joke and most of their 'stories' come from The Associated Press which consistently shows their slanted views by inuendo if nothing else. They are becoming just like all the other liberal newspapers in Florida (and of course almost universally across America). Time to contactd their subscription department and write to the editor. Maybe they will become a little more fair. We can always get our news from the internet.

Billie, I am poll watching tomorrow 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Is there some place I can stand from about 1:30 to 3:30? I wanted to be available to go after that to The Landing to help set up down there.

This is all great -- Can you help hold signs now and we will get to the media beginning Wednesday?

Kurt, I had thought about the same thing before about the newspaper dispensers. I had thought about getting magnets made with some type of slogan on them. A magnet isn't permanent, but if we put it on right after the box is filled, it won't be seen (and probably removed) by the supplier until the following day and a whole lot of people will see it throughout the course of the day. Also with it not being anything permanent, we can't be accused of defacing property.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
