WE NEED YOUR INPUT IN THE NEXT 3 HOURS PLEASE

The phones are ringing off the hook for tea party interviews regarding the possible Government shutdown.  This is the biggest news in a long time and they want to hear from us.

We have our opinion and hope to hear yours.

What do you think about this potential shutdown?

I will be on WTLV from 5:30 - 6:00 on a panel discussing this matter.

I would love to share your thoughts with them.

If only the 535 of our smartest, brightest, and most likely to succeed could demonstrate

one iota of the fortitude and common sense of the people of the Tea Party, we would not be in the dire straits in which we find ourselves. It is an honor to be among these very fine, decent, responsible citizens.

Too bad that our Universities do not place more emphasis on philosophy. Maybe these congressmen and Senators would have a better ability to reason. They are without a clue.

The very idea that we cannot cut a tiny fraction of a budget of over a trillion dollars is absurd. I believe that we are on the very edge of a monetary collapse of the US dollar that will be disastrous to our great nation. Democrats have maintained their relevance for decades by doling out others people's money. Now there is no more "others people’s money" and the charge account is maxed out. The only way Dems can remain relevant is pretending to protect the "needy" in the face of budget cuts. I am afraid they, with the help of the liberal media, will succeed in demagoguing the cuts to death in which case the markets will make the final call which will be disastrous. The term "shutting down the government" is ludicrous. The vast majority of government will keep on operating as usual. The only concern I have regarding a shutdown is the effect it will have on military families. I would prefer our president designate all military and their families as "essential" so that they would keep on receiving their checks. Other than that, I would prefer the government "shut down" in order to start a precedent regarding budget cuts

Planned Parenthood is a fiscal issue, women will get their mamo's using medicaid, medical, planned parenthood serves low income women on gov.dole anyway.  Soldiers will get their checks, a bit slower but they live on base, com center food and life ins. is slow anyway.  We r trying to guarantee a future for them in the private sector as they issue out.  A lot of them will with the repeal of DADT, they r sick about DADT.  SS will go out, medicare patients will be seen!!  800,000 workers r average pd.$170,000. plus bene's and hve. large savings.

Shut down the department of education. It is against the 14 admenment anyway. That alone will save more money that is being talked about. Why fund a department that by it's very definition is unconstitutional?

Urgent Update: Rand Paul has the right approach to handling this Government Shutdown Issue

and for motivating Congress and the Senate to do their Jobs! He represents us very well. We just

need many more members to stop playing games with our country’s dire need to reduce the budget

deficit while moving to a smaller more efficient federal government.  See Links below:

Don't get me wrong though, I still think we should fight them till the bitter end. I am just horrified that they would use this fear mongering to try to get the republicans to back down on budget cutting. How dare they do this to people to protect them!

If the democrats are willing to shut the federal government down over $300 million dollars so that planned parenthood can continue murdering children, shut the government down. Better to fail denying radical liberals their wishes than continue inviting the wrath of God upon our nation for murdering one more baby than the 50,000,000 that have already been sacrificed upon the alter of convience.

When in 25 years have you ever heard of a woman going to PLANNED PARENTHOOD for a cancer screening??? ....this is the most absurd, amazing spin yet! If the Republicans don't start shouting the truth up there we will have to vote them out too....and Boehner is done after this,  because they are obviously scared enough to wring out all the towels on this one! I think we should all show up at PP for a screening today, and a mammogram??? Who knew! I am going to call them now for an appointment!

called Senator Bill Nelson questioning why the democrats didn't pass the budget last years and their

official reply was that they were fibustered by the republicans in the senate. The next thing she said that they were to busy working on Cap & Trade to pass a budget. Now they are hung up on providing birth control pills to women for FREE to pass a spending bill.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
