WE NEED YOUR INPUT IN THE NEXT 3 HOURS PLEASE

The phones are ringing off the hook for tea party interviews regarding the possible Government shutdown.  This is the biggest news in a long time and they want to hear from us.

We have our opinion and hope to hear yours.

What do you think about this potential shutdown?

I will be on WTLV from 5:30 - 6:00 on a panel discussing this matter.

I would love to share your thoughts with them.

They have got to be kidding!   This is like a class of school kids arguing over what in essence is tidbits.  Notice the Dems are holding up passage of the bill for what amounts to funding planned parenthood.  Read, APAU  abortion promoters are us, they should change the name.   Didn't the president say there would be no government funding of this?  They need to do like all Americans, pass a budget and live within their means.  Al

It's time for Washington to wake up from their status quo stupor and realize the people don't like the way America is headed. If that means shutting down the government, then so be it.

I am so excited about the possible government shutdown.  I e-mailed Boehner last night and told him to please not cave in to stand tall for America and that the November election made it very clear what we the people want.  I called Paul Ryan and told him how proud I was of him and to hang tough.  If we have a shutdown, I am looking forward to proving to the government that they are not needed.  I think millions of others who think we cannot do without the government will get their eyes opened.  It feels like things are a changing a bit.  I loved hearing Jim DeMint and Mike Lee stand up for the Tea Party.  The turnabout in the Wisconsin election in our favor and the shutdown is very reassuring.  Too good!  I'm loving it.

If it were up to me, the government should take at least a month off and leave us to hell alone.  WE WILL SURVIVE.

I think that it will wake up the government employees to realize that nothing should be taken for granted. That its our monies that pay them and they need to get that into their thinking cap. We can re-coup some monies by shutting down. It must also include the President. He needs to have his pay deducted as well. Pelosi and all the rest must have monies deducted in this shut down.  They need to be reminded that it is "We the People" monies.

Now on the other hand if this is a ploy by Obama to see how much he can get away with to follow through on his communistic/Socialist ideas then we need to shut him down. We need to shut him down anyway. Enough is Enough.

I don't view it as a govt shutdown. It's closing non-critical departments because of unbridled spending by our elected officials.  Our elected officials need to put a responsible budget in place that reflects the beset interest of the voters, not the officials.  If individuals spend too much, we can't just increase our credit limit and keep spending beyond our paychecks.  Why should Congress and the Administration? This shutdown is not causing an issue.

Shutdown doesn't look like a problem, but a solution.  Let us see just how many gov employees we can do without.  The shutdown should be used to redesign the government --not put it back in the mess it is.  Leave it down until this is done.

They didnt pass a budget in 2010 because they knew the enormity of it all. If they lost the election it didn't matter how big the budget grew. If the republicans won, then the republicans would be held accountable for the budget cuts making them look like the evil tea party killers

Whatever you have to do to get this country in contol of spending, take the necessary steps.  If that means government shut down, so be it.  Don't back down and don't take any wooden nickels.

I hope that Congress that was put in office recently stand firm on this.  Congress has not voted on a budget in 2 years.

The military should be paid before welfare.  They are fighting for our freedom and right.  O'Bama and the liberal Congress need to quit holding our military hostage.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
