WE NEED YOUR INPUT IN THE NEXT 3 HOURS PLEASE

The phones are ringing off the hook for tea party interviews regarding the possible Government shutdown.  This is the biggest news in a long time and they want to hear from us.

We have our opinion and hope to hear yours.

What do you think about this potential shutdown?

I will be on WTLV from 5:30 - 6:00 on a panel discussing this matter.

I would love to share your thoughts with them.

Hate to see a shutdown but we need to take a stance once and for all.

Billie,

Sorry I missed your 3 hr. deadline, but we can't be affraid of looking like the bad guys if the government shuts down. The progressive twits are using every scare tatic they can think of to demonize the adults in Congress, and the Tea Party, who know that this is what the American people want, CUT SPENDING! This is no joke. If you want us to become a 2nd. rate country and turn into a Europian Socialistic mess then capitulate, but if you want us to return to our former greatness then cut spending and encourage the private sector to do what they do-- create business and jobs.   J.C.

THE REPUBLICANS NEED TO TURN OUT THE LIGHTS, SHUT THE DOORS, GO HOME, WHEN THE DEMOCRATS HAVE SIGNED AN AGREEMENT PER THE PEOPLES WISHES , THEY CAN GO BACK TO WORK, A WALK OUT BY THE SPEAKER AND HIS GROUP WILL PUT THEM ON NOTICE, WHAT PART OF SPENDING DONT YOU UNDERSTAND.

Past the 3 hours as I was out, but I think Boehner has to hold the line.  If he doesn't hold out or he folds to the demands of those who would hold paychecks for our military hostage, the republicans will have lost the battle and won't get the cuts in next years budget they will need to right this ship of state that is headed off a cliff.

Maybe it is time we allowed the government to shut down and show the folks in Washington D.C. who is in charge, the voting public.  They go about their usual ways spending every conceivable dollar when we have a recession and climbing national debt.  A few weeks without government activity would be refreshing.  It took the Tea Party to make our representatives come to their senses.  We need more where that came from.

The goal of the conservatives is to cut spending.  If we have to shut the government down to do it, so be it. If we don't hold firm now we will go through this fiasco every time we try to cut spending. Just like with children it seems to be necessary to use behavoir modification on the big spenders in Washington. If they don't have to be responsible now  they never will be.

In my thinking, I distill all thought to the least common denominator, me, I know I cannot live beyond my means for long before the trap door below me opens to unpleasant consequences. What is so different about the government

If the Senate and the House were on Donald Trump's Apprentice, and their task was to work in a zoo and shave the proverbial 500-pound gorilla, they'd be arguing over whether to trim one whisker or two from the gorilla's snout.   This is what the argument over a paltry $33 to $40 billion amounts to within the $14 trillion deficit.

Imagine the fray when they start talking about "real" money.

Hey, GOP presidential hopefuls!  Who's going to support Rep Paul Ryan's plan?

Obama wants to withhold the military pay in order to get climate change funding and abortions, I can see it if he was to take away some welfare checks and food stamps but he doesn't do that he wants to take off of the people who are keeping us safe from foreign invasion. The working people in America have no incentive to work. How many people get an earned income credit that do not pay any taxes?

Shut it down.  Now is the time to pick the fight.  The Dems will be blamed by the people, because most Americans that have to make ends meet, know that a 4% budget reduction is a burp in a hurricane!

Put it on 'em!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
