Today is We the People's Anniversary - the day the Constitution of the United States was signed into law. There are many opportunities to celebrate this day and we have provided a few for you here. We hope you will take a moment to remember those men who spent months framing the Constitution - which is the Contract we have with our Government. While nothing is perfect, this document has served our country and its people for over 200 years and we have a lot to be thankful for because of this document. Enjoy the day and the activities noted below.
Hillsdale College is offering free webinars all day. Check out the schedule and if you are unable to watch the programs live, you can access them a few hours later. Yesterday I was given a special opportunity to sit at the table with Michael Barone who spoke at Hillsdale Constitution Celebration luncheon in Washington. You can listen to Mr. Barone's speech at this site too. Hint: It's about the Tea Party Movement! Here's the link to Hillsdale: http://www.avwebcasting.com/hillsdale/register.php
Have a little fun today and pass this email around to your friends and family members. Take this fun and short quiz to see which personality of our Founding Fathers best reflects yours. After you take it, post a comment and let us know which Founding Father you most resemble. Check out the short quiz at: http://constitutioncenter.org/FoundersQuiz/
Enjoy two great videos of an adult trying to recite the Preamble and a 2 year old actually doing it!
