What happened to my country and its leaders?

Since last Saturday when the Tucson shooting happened, I have watched in amazement at the reaction to this horrible incident.

In the past two years as the Tea Party Movement grew from the ashes of America’s economic collapse, we were ridiculed, called nasty names which far exceeded the nasty names of the past, targeted by our government, blasted by the media and misrepresented as racists.  We could not believe how we were treated simply because we were concerned about the path America was on.

Congress and the President laughed at us and with a mean-spirited attitude saying “we won” passed healthcare legislation that the majority of Americans did not want.  Other legislation passed that we battled against and the Lame Duck session was the last slap in the face of the most partisan Congress ever in history.

When the shooting occurred, we were immediately named as accomplices to the murders of these innocent people.    We were found guilty by the press within hours of the shooting.

Our country has hit a low spot that will go down in history as the slimmest leadership team ever to grace our history books.   I am so sorry I am alive to see it and wish my granddaughters would not have to endure the hardships coming towards them in their future.  Thanks to this team of left-wing, morality hating individuals, my country is now fighting not for tax reform or the end to bailouts.  No, instead we are fighting to regain our moral compass because those with no feelings for others except themselves have taken over the dialogue.

Using us as scapegoats, the progressive left decided to use the murders of these innocent people for their upcoming political campaign – “Together We Thrive.”

How funny that the most partisan Congress and President would call us out to come together.  This is a turn of the tables to win an election and make us look like the bad guys.  We know what they are up to.

If Together We Thrive becomes the political mantra of the left – they will fail.

Americans are not up to letting innocent people die at the hands of a mentally disturbed man become their platform for the 2012 election.

We wonder who bought the tee shirts?

We wonder who came up with the slogan?

We wonder who said “let’s not let this crisis go to waste” first in their strategy meeting?

The issue with Tucson is this:

A mentally disturbed young man needed help.  He didn’t get it.  His parents didn’t get it either.  He was bailed out of problems and sent back home.  He snapped and he shot up a bunch of people.  His actions had nothing to do with the tea party or those who stood up this past year – which is our duty when we see our country hurting.

Because the media and the left wing progressives decided to use this opportunity for political gain – others who are mentally ill will not get the help they need.  Others who are mentally ill – will kill other people or themselves because this political machine didn’t talk about the real issue.  Shame again on them.

To say we are at fault for this Tucson shooting is a crime.

To say the progressives decided to derail the issue and make it political will cause others to kill – is really a crime.

A tee shirt with a slogan will not save our country.

A country with a moral compass and those willing to stand up for it will.

Thanks and God Bless America,

Billie Tucker

Don't Republicans have spin doctors?  They should embrace Together We Thrive and invite Democrats to join them in helping the poor to throw off the shackles of welfare oppression.  In order for all of us to thrive, the poor must educate themselves and encourage their children to aim higher.  Promote the idea that everyone can be a capitalist, everyone can invest and reap the benefits of Wall Street.  We all can thrive if social engineers (Democrats) will stop facilitating poverty and begin encouraging education and industry.  If you can't find a job doing something you like, learn how to do something that pays a salary, you don't have to love your job but you do have to support yourself, its immoral to sponge off the taxpayers.  Welfare is public dole, not an entitlement.

Together We CAN Thrive if the Democrats will get out of the way.

Billie, we must stay the course.  These people are not ever going to let up.  They think they now "smell blood"(sorry, poor choice of words).  Its sad, but so many Americans have not connected the dots with the T-shirts, the students, the slogan "Together We Thrive", which comes from the Democrat Party, circa 2004 and 2008. Great memorial service?  Better they say, very cleverly planned political rally. "Never let a real crisis go to waste."

What is most irritating and annoying is the blatant hypocrisy of those who are willing to condemn without evidence and then call for unity and peace.  But then, their ends justify their means, don't them?

The work is cut out for us. We cannot rest. This is going to be a long, tough fight to 2012 and beyond, if we hope to save out nation.

Reminds me of this famous quote:

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.  It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.  It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

The Biggest shame of the shooting is,not that any of this is good, but in our history congress has not been targeted. Having said this, the shame is we had to wait three days before we heard of the names of the other three people. I think any sane person rejects crime, mostly when lives are taken. I would like to know what makes one life more valuable than another? We hate to hear of children getting killed by a senseless murder, and none DESERVED this, but watching the news, the focus was on three people, The Child, THE Judge, and the Congresswoman. Lives were lost, shouldnt we have heard about them also? And just as much? Think your life is as important? Congress Serves, children dont.

Everyone is missing the real cause of the shooter's irrational thoughts and actions - drug abuse.  Either illegal drugs (he was a pot smoker) or hallucinogenic substances.  According to his high school friends he was fine when they knew him but his later associates said he used pot and other drugs.  Much of today's mental illness can be attributed to drug abuse and we are doing nothing about it.  Long term abuse of illegal drugs results in permanent mental instability, that's why they are illegal.  We should use this event as a reason to not legalize marijuana.

Prophecy is steadily being fulfilled before our eyes and God is still in control. It pains me to think that if Jesus doesn't return soon to take us home, our grandchildren are going to live a life of pain and suffering like none of us has ever known. Did you hear that Michsel Newdow is starting another battle to do away with "In God We Trust"? As bad as today is, tomorrow is destined to be worse unless we can postpone the inevitable. Satan has so many troops fighting against us. But greater is He that is within us! May God bless us all...

In my observation and study of the shooting in Arizona I have asked myself who is accually at fault for what happened in this incident. And based on the information provided by the media I feel that it was a failure of law enforcement that lead to this young man being able to acquire a firearm. I say this because on the application to purchase a firearm there are specific questions asked of the purchaser. Among those are #1have you ever been convicted of a felony. #2 have you ever been deemed mentaly incompetant. #3 are you an unlawful user or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, or narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance. It is my understanding that this young man was picked up for possession of marijuana and that should have been discovered when his background check was processed by law enforcement. So if he answered no to that question he perjured himself and the back gound check did not detect his arrest. I don't think that the Tea party does background checks for the purchase of firearms so how could it possibly have had anything to do with the shootings? So once again the liberal media has put out a bogus report.

The shooter didn't even listen to talk radio or TV.  I don't think he knew what the Tea Party is.  Fortunately 57% don't believe what the left is putting out.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
