                                                      WHAT IS ON YOUR CALENDAR?
      This is the first of many WEEKLY communications you will be receiving in order to keep you informed about the events in YOUR tea party. These events are all made available to you as well on our website. Print it out and put it on the fridge, mark the events in your appointment book and take part in as much as you can.
                                                                 This week:
Wednesday the 15th:

Jacksonville City Council meeting for the final vote on City Ordinance 2012-296. You have sent letters and made calls letting your council members know where you stand on this issue. I encourage everyone to show up at city hall at 5:00PM and show your support. Show them with your presence that you care and you will not be ignored.
Thursday the 16th: LUNCH BUNCH 12pm to 1pm – at the FCTP Office Pack a brown bag and join fellow patriots in a lunch bunch discussion of current topics. Discover great ideas and friendships. You never know who may show up.
Thursday the 16th:

The Election 2012 Team meeting is coming back together to begin the work needed in three major areas as we begin our focus on the General Election in November. Get Out the Vote (GOTV), Voter Integrity and Poll Watchers/Workers. We have calls to make and walking and knocking to plan. We have voter registration booths to man and continued work to clean up the Voter Rolls. Be a part of a team with “Boots on the Ground”. Join the team, 6-8PM at your FCTP office.
Thursday the 16th: The Mandarin-Julington Creek Community Group Meeting. The Meeting is held at 12125 San Jose Blvd in the South Mandarin Library. This meeting is a “round table” discussion with the membership over the implications of the Wisconsin recall election, Texas’ Cruz/Dewhurst runoff and the results of our primary election.
Saturday the 18th:     Restore Freedom in America II from 9am to 5pm.
Location: Cuban American Club located at 5110 Lourcey Road.

The Heritage Foundation Values Bus will arrive in Jacksonville!
The Heritage Foundation and The Family Research Council have joined forces with the First Coast Tea Party for a Rally with a focus on the impacts of government on small business in America.
While details are being worked as I type the venue is set. So be at the River City Brewing Company, 835 Museum Cir, Jacksonville, FL 32207 at 5:00 and join with fellow patriots to once again have your voices heard.

Movie Night ! “2016- Obama’s America”
The much talked about movie “2016” will come to the AMC Regency Theater in Jacksonville on August24th. Produced by Gerald Molen (Schindler’s List) from the book written by acclaimed author Dinesh D’Souza the movie propels the viewer into the year 2016 after four more years of Obama reign over America. 2016 Obama's America takes audiences on a gripping visual journey into the heart of the world’s most powerful office to reveal the struggle of whether one man's past will redefine America over the next four years. The film examines the question, "If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?"

        *Eyes wide open for “THE RATTLER” your FCTP Newsletter. Plans are underway for its inaugural viewing early next week.*

     We have had three long months of preparing for the primary election- hope that everyone voted. About 4 months of putting together your organization and working on some major initiatives. The results of hard work and focus by many wonderful patriots are now in various stages of implementation. But, there is still much to do if we are going to have the degree of impact that we need in November. Rest assured our message will be seen!!
      We cannot do all of the work that needs to be done without a greater level of involvement. I encourage you to view the website, make note of meeting times and to show up and offer your help. Join the Community Group in your area and get involved. The opportunities are many. My “MO” has been and will continue to be CALM AND FOCUS. We have potential voters to reach.
