Laws governing recall in Florida

I reviewed an article provided by another tea party member on one of the blogs, and I found myself checking our own states recall laws. I thought I would share them with you!

Only 11 states have laws allowing for recall of federal officials (it should be an option in every state when your federal officials pass laws that are so heneous they should be removed from office for their action in voting in those laws if they did vote in favor of…

WWW.Salem.News: Montanans Launch Recall of Senators Who Approved NDAA Military Detention. Merry Christmas, US Senate

This article should make many of you feel better, but the worst of it is that only 11 states can recall federal elected officials according to what I found, but this indicates only 9..................it should be available to all states and most especially if the oath to office has been violated as it clearly has for each person who voted yes.  Perhaps if the fear of recall was upon them, they were be far more careful of voting for anything unconstitutional that violates their…

Newsmax: Obama Will Govern Without Congress

You are gonna love this.  He is right smack out of his lunatic little mind!  He scares the heck out of me with his dictatorship talking garbage.  He thinks he is something else, and he is, but it isn't quite what he thinks it is.  He is a mad man totally!  People literally can't stand him and want him gone, and he is pushing himself as the grand leader like the dude in North Korea..............will we all have to wear his picture on our…

Washington Times: BLANKLEY: Newt’s past and future leadership

I remember Gingrich from the Clinton era and what he did was totally amazing, and it also set our country to rights.  But as we have all noticed Romney and the media (the same media that has gone after every single other candidate but Romney with a vengence) have done quite a job on Speaker Gingrich.  It isn't hard to understand republicans in Washington poor mouthing Newt if they want Romney in now is it.  He is the candidate the republican party has chosen for us, and like the…

Times 24/7: U.S. aircraft carrier moves near Strait of Hormuz

I saw this, and all I could think is what is Obama going to get us into now.  Maybe he could fall on bended knee and beg them not to do it (it would certainly be more in keeping with how he has handled Iran up to now).

The aircraft carrier USS John C Stennis reportedly is steaming toward the Strait of Hormuz where the Iranian navy is conducting war games. Photo Credit:…

Guardian: Egypt police raid offices of human rights groups in Cairo

More nasty news from Egypt.  This certainly doesn't appear to be quite like it was before when Mubarak was running the country, does it?  We used to have a good relationship with Egypt then.

TU: Report: JEDC lax in oversight of incentives, Cecil Field

Not good, but I think we expected this.  The word was out that a couple of outfits had not in reality created the jobs they were supposed to and wondered who missed the boat on catching it.

TheGuardian: Military given go-ahead to detain US terrorist suspects without trial

I guess if you can't get rid of those who disagree with you, now the O can just call those who disagree with him terrorists (as they do with the tea party), and they can make you a political prisoner without a trial or any of your first amendment rights.  Obama signed the bill which they put into the defence bill just passed by both houses.  It was so bad, apparently, those who voted for it, never actually understood the gravity of what they were doing...........or maybe they did…

Mychal Massie: Obama’s terrorist attack on our children’s minds

I am sick at heart that the person residing in our white house is a communist and is pushing his rhetoric on innocent school children and all his warped ideas.

Speaking at Osawatomie High School, in Osawatomie, Kan., Obama said: “Now, it’s a simple theory. And we have to admit, it’s one that speaks to our rugged individualism and our healthy skepticism of too much government. That’s in America’s DNA. And that theory fits well on a bumper sticker. But…

TU: Mayor Alvin Brown to embark on reorganization ahead of City Council vote

Please take a look at this.  I personally am very concerned about what appears to be an attempt to centralize power under the mayor office and appoint folks that for all intents and purposes appear to be CZARS.  I do not think the mayor's office should be allowed to turn any of these entities into political footballs with changes in personnel that "see" his point of view politically instead of doing their job or perhaps even favor one class of people over another which seems very…

Action Alert: JEA pay raises on the docket for 12/13 City Council Meeting

Action Alert (If you are not in Duval County but you know someone who is, please let them know:

The JEA pay raise bills are set for this Tuesday's city council meeting (bills 2011-677 through 2011-681.........see summary sections below), so their timing is less than perfect..............everyone gone over the Christmas holiday and our friends over at JEA are trying to get pay raises passed. The only saving grace is that several councilmen/women do not seem to…

Politico: Ugly divide at NRC pits Jaczko vs. fellow commissioners

Obama is at it again.  He is putting our safety at risk this time by not doing his job.  He is too busy campaigning and obvious thinks he can ignor his other duties.  He has known there was a problem for 2 months and no action taken.................apparently voting present again.

Bloomberg: GOP blocks Obama nominee to head financial agency

The scuttlebutt is that Obama was waiting for Christmas break to appoint the head to this department who would have had huge power.  The GOP  senators have said it will keep the congress open over Christmas break (which in essence stops any appointment by Obama and stops the "power" the appointment would have had from happening).  I hope you are as grateful for this as I am, and think it is shameful of this president to force the congress to remain open during what are supposed…

Forbes: Did The Obama Administration Throw The FDA Under The Bus?

To say this administration is imploding may be an understatement.  This is the second department that has complained about what is going on with the Obama administration.

Susan Wood quit her job as an assistant commissioner for woman’s health at the Food and Drug Administration in 2005 because she thought political, not scientific, forces were delaying efforts to make the Plan B emergency contraceptive available without a prescription. Four years…

Patriot Newswire: Britain: Islam In, Christianity Out

This is shameful, it is what Obama is bringing to our country, and it has already begun.  Obama truly is the devil himself, and we must get a true Christian into the white house as our president in 2012 and not just someone pretending to be a Christian, so they can get elected to public office!

A Christian worker in Britain has filed a lawsuit after losing her job when she exposed a campaign of systematic harassment by fundamentalist…

TU: Talent-laden council panel casts critical eye on Mayor Alvin Brown's plan

I have grave concerns about a couple of things I understand are part of Brown's "plan".  Apparently, Brown wants to be the filter on businesses receiving tax payer property tax money as incentives prior to anything going to the city council.  I see a problem with that as anyone who applies should receive fair and equal treatment as they have up until now when the city council considered each bill separately for it's merits or lack of them.  Allowing Brown to pick the winners and…

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
