Yesterday was a beautiful day in DC. The weather was remarkable and the sky was as blue as it was on the day terrorists attacked us on 9/11. My favorite speech at the 9/11 Memorial service yesterday in front of the Washington Monument, was from a retired Lieutenant of the New York Fire Department. He told stories about some of his men who died that day. The stories were moving because they were personal and real and the people were real too! He reminisced about their lives, their career paths and little quirks each of them had. As he told these personal stories, his throat well up as he choked back tears. All of us listening didn't choke them back - we let them roll.

Speaking of letting them roll, please go to the video of Todd Beamer's dad, David Beamer, sharing his feelings about the Ground Zero mosque. You can find it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bl6PIb8DuZw. You might remember that Todd was on the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania. Some of his last words were, "Let's roll" as he and others tried to keep the plane from crashing into another American symbol (some thought it was the White House). Although Todd perished that day, he never gave up trying to save other great Americans on that plane. He is a hero.

Other heroes of a different kind will be marching down Pennsylvania Avenue towards the Capitol today. These heroes are here to bring a message to those in Congress and in the White House that we have had enough of their spending and their attitudes. Since this Congress took over, they have behaved like little children at home without their parents who are using their credit card and maxing it out while having wild parties and destroying the house. They are "out of control" and We the People are here to say "Stop It. Clean this mess up. You are on suspension until November 2 and then you can go back to your room in your home state for good!" The House may be torn up - but Great American heroes such as these marching today can turn it around and clean it up and we will.

Last night was fun. We had 49 people from Jacksonville share a meal together at Old Ebbitt's Grill. We took over the restaurant and had a blast. Other tea party members from groups across the country were stunned at how many we had in our party for dinner. The First Coast Tea Party "rocks" and we are proud to represent the First Coast.

It's raining right now and we are hopeful it will stop before the march begins at noon. If it doesn't stop, the National Park Service will close down the march. And, we know they are itching to do so. It's Sunday and many of you will be heading to your place of worship. Please say a prayer that the sky turns blue and the rain goes away so all these great American heroes who have come from across the country will be able to march.

Pray too that the Boston Harbor Dock will make its way into the march and all will go well. They do not make it easy on protestors up here. Let me change that - "On Conservative Protestors" that is.

Pray for the bus from Jacksonville that has driven all night and will be arriving this morning. We will have a bunch of tired patriots coming off that bus and they will pop back to life once their feet touch the ground. They will have driven all night, will march all day and then get back on the bus and drive back to Jacksonville and arrive home in the morning so they can go to work! Now those are modern day American Patriots and we are proud to know them.

Have a wonderful Sunday with your family and we will have a wonderful Sunday with our First Coast Tea Party family here in DC. We miss all of you who were not able to join us this year but know we feel your spirit with us and we will represent you well.

God bless America,

Billie

My husband & I are two of those "modern day American Patriots" who are glad we made the trip. It was incredible to see how many came out to "send our message" to the President and Congress.

Yes we were tired but we never wavered. We're looking forward to next year ! ! !

From yesterday, this video stood out. Take the minute or two to watch it. They did not do it for profit and paid to run it one time. It is beautiful.

Billie, I used to live in that area. I always said if you didn't like the weather, stick around it would change, and very soon. Hopefully, there will be no reason to shut down the march. You all are in my heart and I am there in spirit. Have a blessed day. May God lead and guide us to save our Republic.

Amen and Amen...Our prayers are with you and every other person ther for the march...let's hope Washington finally gets the message! And that the "liberal media" finally learn how to count real numbers of people.

I know no matter how many millions of people show up, "they" will say only a few hundred or if generous a few thousand. But I will know the truth and the American people know the truth. They're still under the erroneous assumption we are not watching. WE ARE!!!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
