We asked "God Save The U.S.A.", and He answered.

The Tenth Amendment of the Constitution says: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or the people". That important Clause limits the powers of the Federal Government. However the Federal government now uses the "Interstate Commerce Clause" to override the Tenth Amendment, to pass unconstitutional laws (like the Health Care Bill).

How has God provided? 32 States,… Continue

Preservation of Constitutional Rights

I carry a copy of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution in my pocket everyday. Every legislator must weigh each decision on these two documents. After all, their oath of office states that they will “swear (or affirm) to support and defend the Constitution... and bear true faith and allegiance to the same.” Too many decisions are being made with regard to the next election or to special interest groups. Although the ink on the Constitution is faded, its power and authority must… Continue

Interesting images for thought, reflection, and lightness!

It's so cold and dreary I thought I would share some of the images I came across and a website I love:

Cafe Press. These images are bumper stickers and buttons people have designed and purchased. It's an interesting site. Go here to see them all.

Just a little brake from the craziness!

I know-Disney-but Mickey loves… Continue

The First Senator From the Tea Party?

To many Republicans, the governor’s (Charlie Christ) biggest sin was his support for the Obama administration’s $787 billion economic-stimulus package. That’s what comes up the most,

We The People Song

If you have not seen and heard this song, you need to. It is by Ray Stevens. It pokes fun at the government and gets to the point. Also go to and listen to his song praising our military.

Interesting tidbit

Born 1776, Died 2008

It does not hurt to read this several times.

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29

Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000

Victory in 2010 and 2012!

We are on our way to victory, as evidenced by the recently announced retirements of liberals in Congress!

Don't be discouraged by all the unconstitutional and deceptive tactics being used to support the health "care" debacle. We can reverse it! All we need is more educated voters!

The only way we are going to preserve freedom and prosperity for future generations is to educate more people to vote for liberty than are now being taught to vote for subjection to… Continue

The Census is coming this March and get this, they will be "teaching" your children about it in April!

After hearing this morning that the Govt. will spent $ 340 million dollars on the census this year. I decided to do some digging. I know that earlier in the year the White House decided they would handle the Census and honestly with so many other things going on, I don't know if that is still true however I do know this:

According to Article I, Section II of the US Constitution, they will count the citizens every 10 years. Well, counting citizens and answering intrusive questions are… Continue

Jim Greer-Head of FL GOP resigned today!

What a good day! Jim Greer resigned today. Now, after reading the statement by the Fl. GOP I have my doubts about who will replace him, especially since there is a statement from Charlie Crist about it AND Crist is all over the Florida GOP website! See it here

C-SPAN Challenges Congress to Open Health Care Talks to TV Coverage

The head of C-SPAN has implored Congress to open up the last leg of health care reform negotiations to the public, as top Democrats lay plans to hash out the final product among themselves. C-SPAN CEO Brian Lamb wrote to leaders in the House and Senate Dec. 30 urging them to open "all important negotiations, including any conference committee meetings," to televised coverage on his network. "The C-SPAN networks will commit the necessary resources to covering all of the sessions LIVE and in the…… Continue

What is Our Government Up To?: Follow The Money Trail

Last week, while Congress and the nation were preoccupied with the holidays, the Treasury made a Christmas eve announcement that it would be providing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac unlimited financial support for the next three years. The Treasury's press release notes:

if Congress fails to recognize that the Treasury's action is at minimum an evasion, and possibly a usurpation of powers that are enumerated to Congress alone. If Congress does not forcefully defend that prerogative –… Continue

A Patriot by an other name

“Right Wing Extremist”, “Angry Mob Leader”, “Astroturf” and even “Nazi”? Now I have to admit that I have been called a lot of things in my young 50 years, but I can honestly say that the word “Nazi” has never been one of them.

I have to admit when I started the St. Augustine Tea Party I was very naïve and actually, to be truthful about it, I guess I still am. I signed up to host the Tax Day Tea Party on March 23rd of this year, and haven't slowed down since. My point is that I had… Continue

Think about a Billion.

How many zeros in a billion?

This is too true to be funny.

The next time you hear a politician use the Word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about

Whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR tax money.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, But one advertising agency did a good job of

Putting that figure into some perspective in One of it's releases.

A billion seconds ago it was 1959.

Dying for freedom so we can carry our signs

I was sent this email by a friend and as I read it, I was overcome with the knowledge that parents of those who died for freedom had the hardest burden to bear. They were left behind to watch as America chose either to support their son/daughter who died OR watch as they were ridiculed for standing and dying for freedom.

The world has changed and I've watched it happen since the Vietnam war when I was young. Our President put us in a war where so many died and those who lived were… Continue

New poll shows 'Tea Party' more popular than Republican Party

A new Rasmussen poll finds that the tea party movement's popularity is growing, so much so that it garners more support than the Republican party on a generic Congressional ballot. The poll hints that the burgeoning discontent among conservatives within the GOP threatens to splinter the party at a time when the popularity of President Obama and the Democratic-controlled Congress are waning as we head into an election year.

The tea party movement was conceived out of antipathy for President… Continue

My Day at the Villages at the Glenn Beck Rally

I got up at 5:15 am so I would be sure I could leave before 7am to start my journey to The Villages and arrive before 9:30 am. I was excited to make the trip because Glenn Beck was coming to The Villages for a rally. The Villages gave me great directions that actually took me down a great road through the Ocala National Forest. I arrived by 9:15, found a parking spot and went and got in line. You see, they were only giving out 2000 wristbands. They would not start giving them out until noon but… Continue

Glenn Beck Rally at the Villages

Saturday I got up early and came home late and it was all worth it. I stood in line 3 hours to get an armband so I could get my book signed and shake hands with Glenn Beck. I met great new friends who feel exactly like I do. I saw people having great conversation with complete strangers that had become new friends. Glenn was 30 minutes late but no one seemed to mind. There was a huge crowd and all listened intently as Glenn unveiled his plan. I am working on getting the full audio feed up soon… Continue

As a Candidate; you then need to raise funds for your campaign

Unless you are very wealthy and can fund your own campaign, in order to succeed as a candidate, you must raise funds. Events, mailing campaigns, printing, signage, advertisements, etc. all add up to huge expenses. If you've received enough signatures, you won't need funds to qualify.  However, if you fall short, in order to be a candidate you must pay the amount for postitions listed in the previous blog.

A common misconception about political fundraising is that it…
