This is going to be a very interesting case to watch as we have a very similiar happening here in Jacksonville. We have in the past had our city council override the voice of the people. We may need to watch this and see what happens as no one should be stopped from attempting to recall someone legally nor should thier freedom of speech be called into question. It does not matter what church you go to as it does not eliminate your right to freedom of speech as an individual…

There are 2 articles posted, and it is important you read both. One is from Bloomberg explaining what is being done and by whom etc. The second is written by an attorney who specializes in securities law and according to him, BOA is moving these bad assets(derivatives) to their FDIC insured unit which will make the American people responsible for the loses on these bad investments (who will bail us out when the dollar goes by the way side over things like this?). We need to…

This could become a real issue in the 2012 elections since the dems are clawing and scratching to win anything they can. We will have to be very watchful of phony tea party groups that may or may not be fronts for the democratic party (as they have done in the past). I might add if anyone is not signed up for The Shark Tank, you can do so from their home page. Javier has some great commentary, interviews, and videos related to Florida politics.

If someone enters our country illegally which is a violation of the law, they have no constitutional rights. They are not a citizen; they are a law breaker from another country. So please, please explain why our government is treating these folks like they are the same rights as a US citizen? This happens time and time again. Terrorists afforded…

My plan was to do a rant today outlining the media turning on Newt. But that will have to wait for another day. Yesterday, I heard in passing, that Rush Limbaugh had exposed the truth about the Herman Cain interview yesterday morning. You know, the one where he supposedly was unable to answer a question about Libya. Well as it…

The ever imposing encroachment on your freedoms. Not a day goes by when this tyrant doesn't make a move to control something else. I am quite sure there is more to this than meets the eye.

I am trying to decide how I feel about this since a couple of the gun organizations don't like it. Perhaps it isn't quite as straight forward as the articles make it appear?
From the Associated Press:
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A state permit to carry a concealed firearm would be valid in almost every other state in the country under legislation the House passed Wednesday.
The first pro-gun…

Just when you thought you had heard the worst you could hear about Obama and the rest of satan's children he bought with him to run things in DC, this comes up. It goes beyond sub human and truthfully, I can't think of anything bad enough to call it nor can I even think what to call someone who is capable of this level of cruelty.

This is a copy of the newsletter about the Florida election laws and what our buddy Bill Nelson would like to do about getting them rolled back. You had better write (I don't suspect he will listen since he hasn't for quite some time now............but we have to keep trying). The copies of his letters and Durbin's letter are available along with the letter sent to our state attorney general. He must not be…

Aren't these folks just the salt of the earth? And our president and the dems support them? Right now, I would demand that the media never, ever use the words tea party and OWS in the same sentence again as there is no resemblance at all. If you have not been to city hall of late, you will love the mess these folks have made of the sidewalks writing on them and all the tables set up along the side walk you have to take to get to city hall.

This is part of an article I read this morning that was written a while back. I found it especially uplifting and hope you will as well. I have included the link to the piece which is about God, Gold, Groceries, and Guns.
Guns are controversial. I don't think you need an arsenal. You need a few simple weapons and the training to master them. This poem gets the point…

It is time for folks to get involved in this. Our city council knows we have a serious problem as does the mayor. They can work to try to solve the problem, but if they do that, they need the support of the taxpayers and residents of Duval county, because you may rest assured the impacted group will have a huge showing at city hall. We can no longer leave our city council and mayor out there blowing in the wind if they make the right decisions and work to do the right thing to…

None of these folks understand the gravy train is over. They need to rein in spending. The goose that laid the golden egg is dead or dying. People can't afford this any more than they can afford the high gas prices Obama has forced on us through his policies.

Bill Nelson is at it again. He knows he is in trouble and now, the effort to make sure voter fraud permiates our elections by forcing Florida to toss our ID requirements. We all know where that could lead. Perhaps a letter campaign aimed at Mr. Nelson would help (even though it has not in the past)?
The chairman of a U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee panel that oversees voting will hold a field hearing on new Florida…
