A patriot friend of mine from up in North Carolina sent this to me, and I thought it was more than a glaring reason to rid ourselves of the current white house resident.

     Earlier this week while driving across town I noticed a couple vehicles with Obama 2012 on them.  Later in the week I saw vehicles with American flag bumper stickers and other stickers showing their patriotism and pride in America.  Then I got to thinking - did the Obama 2012 vehicles have anything about American pride or patriotism?  I think Not.

     That was the "observation" part of this blog. 

     Here's the "challenge" part - let's see how many vehicles we can find…

Great job as the Times Union is truly being a no holds barred watchdog on our city!  This seems to be a recurring pattern and is of concern.  Hand over tons of  taxpayer money to a some city commission or group and then, forget  about it.  No oversight, and this goes back way before Brown took office.   This is a pattern totally and we have seen this several times in the last few  months where the city isn't watching what people are doing with our money.…

About 150 people to lose jobs over next six weeks.

I would really hate to see this piece of history religated to the heap as so many other pieces of the city's history have been.  The ferry is truly part and parcel to the Mayport community and is needed to keep that small community viable, so if the port shuts the ferry down and no one steps up to the plate, it may very well mean the demise of Mayport itself.  A special thanks to city councilman Gulliford for taking a vested interest in finding a solution!…

I think there may be more to this than meets the eye as there is some unsubstantiated skuttlebutt going around just now. I could well imagine Mr. Khan is upset and should be after just making a million dollar donation to something the mayor wanted to do. This is probably the sickest thing Ovomit has done. Why can't we just let "little" girls be children which is what they are. Why must we push condoms and birth control pills on them well before they need them or should need them.  Birth control as an issue?   Really when our GDP is only 1.9?
