Washington Times: Obama sidelined as player in summits

And he will be surprised that his getting our credit rating lowered, having none of his give away programs fix the economy or taking our country nearly off a cliff will not garner him the respect all his Washington cronies have told him he deserves......................no one in Europe was listening the last time he tried to push them into useless spending, and certainly the PM of Germany isn't going to buy in to a bunch of Obama's failed programs.…

Allen West/Facebook: National Economic Indicators During Obama's Term

Allen West is not known for spinning anything, so I thought you might like to take a look at the numbers.  Understand he is using the current unemployment numbers when we all know they are cooked, because they do not show the total number of people who have given up looking nor does it indicate how many total jobs have been lost in our economy (and both those who stopped looking and a decrease in the number of jobs available are huge).…

Religious Liberties and the Bill of Rights - GEORGE WASHINGTON

George Washington and his Letter to the Jews of Newport

The original of Washington’s Letter to the Hebrew Congregations of Newport, Rhode Island is small in size, but its impact on American life is immense. In 340 well-chosen words, the Letter reassures those who had fled religious tyranny that life in their new nation would be different, that religious “toleration” would give way to religious liberty, and that the government would not interfere with individuals in…

OATH OF OFFICE - A LITTLE INFO

The Constitution contains an oath of office only for the president. For other government officials, including members of Congress, the document specifies only that they "shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation to support the Constitution."

The First Congress, in 1789, reworked this requirement into a simple fourteen-word oath: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States."

At the beginning of the Civil War, Congress expanded the…

CHECK OUT JUDICIAL WATCH

Check out the Washington, D.C. based organization Judicial Watch which is committed to stopping the corrupt Obama machine from stealing the 2012 elections. It is focusing on a number of corrupt strategies that are already in play including:

 Granting "backdoor amnesty" to millions of illegal aliens and suspending deportation…

Liberty News: U.S. Soldier Beaten by Group of Cowards in Hoodies in Florida, No Word of Support From White House

Apparently this 24 year old young man did not look like Obama, since he has not seen fit to weigh in on this unprovoked beating of this young man by 4 thugs in hoodies.

5.15.2012

These videos are starting to become more and more common these days. This particular video is gut-churning to watch. In the video, a U.S. soldier is seen minding…

Times Union: Melissa Ross: Furniture argument irrelevant; we're already losing in criminal justice

Interesting perspective.  She basically thinks we should address the problems that the courthouse is supposed to be a solution for (jail for those who commit crimes).  Education is one of the solutions she believes must be looked at.....................perhaps if we could get the federal government out of the equation, it might be a worth while solution.  Your thoughts??? …

Times Union: Jacksonville City Council members treading into gay rights bill

Please weigh in on this if you care that they have removed all referrences to the US Constitution and replaced it with UN Human Rights wording which has not relevance in our country!  If they are already not discriminating, then, why do we need such a bill, and just how are they going to know if someone is gay?   Ask them?  Which is totally around the bend.  Let's see how this goes as it could mean a great many people looking for another line of work in the next election if they…

Times 24/7: House Democrats are trained to play race card

Gee, I bet this will come as a surprise to everyone!   Given we have all been called racists for 3 or 4 years straight, I would have thought they already went through adequate training, wouldn't you????

Times Union: Florida schools won't be held accountable for low FCAT writing scores

I guess my question would be..............and these folks screamed about not getting enough money?  And what pray tell are they doing with all that money besides hiring more administrators, because it is clearly evident it is not going towards educating the children in our public propaganda (schools) centers.

American Thinker: Discouraged Democrat Voters May Mean Historic Sweep for GOP

WILL THE TEA PARTY RESCUE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AGAIN? - GOOD REASON TO NOT CO-OPT WITH REPUBLICANS

“Charles Darwin’s survival of the fittest theory best describes the political evolution of the Republican Party during the 2010 mid-terms, since some party leaders who vehemently opposed the Constitutionalist candidates, like some extinct species, were just too stupid to evolve. The leadership that fails to nurture this metamorphosis from crawling caterpillar to winged butterfly will go the way of the Whig Party and the Dodo bird.” ~ Anthony Mele

Local Jacksonville News from the Times Union (and a couple of state articles as well)

I have included some state news as well this week as there were a couple of interesting articles.  There wasn't much compared to other weeks and as I stated, if you would like a copy of  a letter from one of our councilmen about the courthouse furniture or you don't get Mayor Brown's newletters and would like to see who is donating money to the city to do some things we might not otherwise be able to do, let me know and I will be very happy to…

Marco Rubio Letter about the UN. Well worth the read and some support if you agree with him.

A member of our group has written a letter to his representatives about the United Nations, and the response he received from Senator Rubio is below.  I thought it was a good letter which responded well to the member, and I am hoping you will read it as it lets us know where Senator Rubio stands on the UN.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT FOR OUR SENATE RACE - VOTING RECORDS

The U.S. Senate Republican primary race in Florida is in full swing, and potential Republican voters are wondering who will be the candidate that will best represent them in the U.S. Senate, working along side U.S. Senator Marco Rubio.

The top two candidates in the race, Congressman Connie Mack and former U.S. Senator George LeMieux are trying to prove to the Republican electorate who is the more conservative candidate of the two.  On the surface, both…

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
