American Thinker: Dems' Risky Tea Party Smear Strategy

You can find a few references like the one Mr. Kengor found, but you are just as likely to find more defending the tea party for standing firm.  Even more are grateful for the tea party and the job they are doing of bringing everything that is going on to the fore front.  People are waking up, and they aren't liking what they are hearing or seeing.  Not everyone follows blindly and believes everything that is said by idiots like Kerry any more (thank…

ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES – IS YOUR VOTE COUNTED?

The nation must fix the machinery of voting; all voters in all jurisdictions across the country should have reasonable confidence that their votes will be counted accurately. Many states continue to use paperless electronic voting machines, which have been shown to be unreliable and insecure.   Electronic voting machines are based on software that is, by its nature complex and essentially invisible to those overseeing it.  Further, the machines, especially if not carefully tested… Continue

Bearing False Witness: The Media's at it again

Sunday morning is my favorite day of the week.  There is a certain calmness that seems to come from a place not of this world.

We do not have the rush to get up and get off to work as we do Monday through Friday.  Saturday is…

Washington Post: Postal Service proposes cutting 120,000 jobs, pulling out of health-care plan

Very interesting and well worth the read.  They realize they can do better for health and retirement plans in the free market system and actually think the federal plans are far too generous (you don't say).

14 Reasons Why Rick Perry Would Be A Really, Really Bad President and the Rebuttle

This is well worth a read through, because should Perry become the nominee, you may rest assured the president will slam him hard.  The only thing Obama has is to discredit the other guy since he can't run on a record of failure.  These are points that will need to be seriously looked at and resolved should Perry become the nominee.  The article has the 14 issues, but there is a rebuttle in comments that is excellent from someone who would know and lives in the state of Texas, so…

As of today, August 12, we've FINALLY paid our obligations to the local, state and Federal governments.

After today through the end of the year, the money we earn is really ours. OURS! To spend however we see fit. ON WHAT WE WANY TO SPEND OUR PAYCHECKS ON!

Like food, utilities, rent or the mortgage. Gas for the car, clothes and shoes for the kids.

CNS: All 6 Democrats on Deficit-Reduction Panel Earned 'F's From Taxpayers’ Union

Isn't it just amazing. The democrats can't even go about choosing someone decent to sit on a committee that is charged with making cuts to try to right our financial ship, and they can't even get that right. No wonder our country is where it is now with them in charge!

MoneyNews: FT: SEC Investigating S&P's Downgrade of US Debt

Obama brought this on our country all by himself with his spending, spending, spending, and he keeps looking for someone else to blame for the results. Standard and Poors had been warming us for some time this could and would happen if we didn't get our fiscal house in order, but Obama thought they were talking about someone else I guess. Now he wants to take revenge for the results of "his actions".…

Times Union: City Council panel resists parts of Alvin Brown's 2012 Jacksonville budget

Right now, I can say with unwavering certainty that I am adamently apposed to the mayor putting together "neighborhood councils" and all these groups headed by a mayoral "appointee".  Can anyone say "community organizing"?  Such a group could easily become an organized political group to push a candidate or viewpoint that our elected "representative" does not advocate.  We elect someone to speak for us and to whom we write and talk to…

Politico: S&P: Debt default skeptics fueled ratings downgrade

Was the person who wrote this article in a locked closet the last month or 2???? Were the folks at Politico not watching the daily tirades of Obama in living color on television where he said each and every day, unless the debt ceiling was raised, we would default???? Since I knew the money came in every month to stop a default from ever happening (but would force Mr. Obama to make the tough choices he refuses to make about cutting the size and scope of government), I was…

What Would John Wayne Do?

I grew up with Saturday morning cartoons AND 30 minute western shows.  You would think because I was a young girl I wouldn’t like westerns but I did.  I loved them because the good guy always won and the pretty girl won the good guy!

The Washington Times: John McCain and the Tea Party: Lord of the TARP versus American Hobbits

Mr. McCain MUST go.  Every time he runs for office, he covers his liberal leanings with the clock of invisability and puts on his cloak of conservatism (which is  nothing more than a faux facade.  He must be removed and replaced with someone who gives conservatism more than lip service.

Personal Liberty Digest: They Don’t Want Us Doing This; We’re Doing It Anyway

Please note, these folks are coming to our city on October 22, 2011.

In a recent interview with a reporter from the BBC, I was asked what I thought about proposed cuts to foreign aid spending. “More than 10 percent in cuts, that’s pretty steep, right?”

My answer: “Steep? [Chuckling.] It’s all perspective, I guess. My preference? I’d like to see that number changed. To 100 percent.”

The reporter was shocked to a point…

To Compromise Or Not …

The notion of Compromise came up in the 8/11 Presidential debate on FOX NEWS this evening.

The Progressives have successfully convoluted so much of our English language I feel a need to start by going back to the dictionary to reread the definition of COMPROMISE:

Main Entry: 1com·pro·mise

Pronunciation: käm-pr - m z

Function: noun

1 : a settlement of a dispute by each…

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
