Last night our endorsed candidate for Mayor, Mike Hogan (R) came in first in a field of six candidates and will face Alvin Brown (D) in a May runoff.
Our local newspaper, The Times Union also unveiled a new look on the same day. The…

While you were sleeping, the United States shredded the Constitution and declared it invalid.
Here’s what happened:
Last night in a vote of 10-0-5 (5 abstained), the UN Security Council voted to approve a no fly…

I do not write a blog unless I am moved to do so. I try to listen to my inner soul to tell me what to write. Some days the blogs are motivational and some are action oriented. It just depends on how I’m moved that morning.
When I woke this morning, I turned on my computer and as the emails…

The GOP leadership and the conservative and tea party members of Congress came to a crossroads yesterday and stared each other down.
The GOP leadership didn’t like it. The Tea Party Movement did.
Here’s what happened:

I had my own personal tsunami in Tallahassee last Tuesday. A group of Tea Party members drove together to Tally to participate in the opening of the legislature and hold a rally on the steps the following day. As we headed up I-10, I was coughing and hacking with my usual allergy attacks this time of year. When we arrived in Tally, I became very ill. I almost crawled into our hotel room and quickly climbed into bed. Something wasn’t right. I felt…

This weekend our community website was flowing with robust conversations about various issues. Two people in different places on our website asked this question: “Does the tea party care about this issue??? It is important!” They were angry that we were not focusing on their passion and I felt we had let them down.
As I watched the conversations flow, I put my head down on my desk and felt…

I was invited to speak at the Tea Party Caucus in the House of Representatives Monday night. It was a memory I will forever cherish and am thankful for the opportunity.
Michelle Bachmann reached out and asked three tea party leaders to speak on behalf of the Tea Party Movement. Her goal was to get our input on the Debt Ceiling. (Answer: Do not raise the Debt Ceiling.) The room was filled with new and more seasoned representatives who felt they identified as a tea party…

Just when you think you can move on to another issue, here come the dirty tricks!
Senator Bill Nelson is evidently behind a lawsuit that will be filed Monday (tomorrow). It will challenge Governor Scott’s decision to return the taxpayers’ money to DC that had been set aside for High Speed Rail. Lawsuit alleges he has overstepped his authority to do…

A text message alarm sounded on my cell phone early in the wee hours of the morning. Message: “Iranian Naval ships sail through Suez Canal – first time since 1979”
I read it once and then twice. I put the phone down, buried my head in the pillow and said a prayer that God would keep Israel safe, would show His powers against Iran and would ensure the safety of all of us against the evil of Iran.
Of course, sleep was not to be for the rest of the evening. I…

Today is one of those obscure American holidays celebrated mostly by government employees and financial and educational institutions. The private sector is probably heading to work on a less crowded highway with hopes of picking up new clients and customers and saving their jobs.

Two years ago today, Rick Santelli, a CNBC reporter, let out a rant heard round the world! He ranted about Obama’s Mortgage Bailout Plan. He was ticked. He was hot. He was mad. He then said without thinking about it -- “Let’s have a tea party.”
He had no idea his anger would light a movement never before…

As a kid, we loved to play Red Rover during recess. The object of the game was to have two teams – with approximately 10 per team. The teams would face each other about 30 feet apart. Both teams would be holding hands with the 10 on their team.
The game went like this:

Some days I wish I could stay in bed, put the pillow over my head and sleep until a new day dawns in America. I’ve tried that but I keep waking up to a sun shining through my bedroom window and a voice saying “Get up, you have to get moving and do your part.”
Today is one of those days.
We have so much to talk about and do for our country and if we were a single focus organization, it would make it easier. We are not. We are a Liberty-focused organization…

Last week I sat through 4 hours of missile defense presentations at Heritage in DC. Those on the panel were the leading experts on this grave matter. Grave because we will soon be digging ours.
Not only was I able to sit and listen but I was also asked to be a part of it. Now what could a 50+ year old woman, wife, mother, grandmother,…

WARNING: Bad language by ticked off tea party member
I am mad as hell and can’t think of another way to say this. I am mad as hell! (That's the bad language)
Do you think it is right or appropriate to send OUR Federal dollars to a Texas middle and elementary school to teach children Arabic?
Read this carefully and then contact your Representative and Senators (go to…

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
