Report: Obama Administration Added $9.5 Billion in Red Tape in July

Well, I am sure getting rid of "tony the tiger" was as important to you as it was to me, so can we all say thank goodness the president borrowed a whopping 3.8 billion in borrowed money and another 5.7 billion in taxpayer money to take care of all those pesky critters on the cereal boxes.  I know, with the economy in the tank and the stock market tanking, it was high on my priority list..............and surely was on yours too since the president made it a priority!   Although…

Back to Big Government-Spending as Usual

And we all knew this, so it should not come as a surprise to anyone.  It is the reason we fought against the debt ceiling being raised.

Written on August 4, 2011 by Michelle Malkin

The American Age of Austerity lasted approximately three minutes, give or take a nanosecond. Immediately after the Senate approved the bipartisan “Budget Control Act of 2011″ on Tuesday afternoon, President Obama hustled over to the Rose Garden — to crow about the…

WH: Taxpayers Will Fund Obama Bus Tour of Battleground States

This one will make your blood boil.  The unmitigated gaul of this monster is not to be believed.............if he can't get the donations, he will just use taxpayer money I guess.

August 4, 2011

President Barack Obama’s upcoming bus tour through the Midwest states typically viewed as swing states during presidential election years will be paid for by the taxpayers, the White House says.

Obama will start the…

11-0406 Adoption of 5-year CIP This is a lot of $$$

City leaders continuously make decisions they claim that they know better than we, tax payers, what is best for us and are done in "The Peoples" best interest.

Twice a year the City is allowed to make changes to the CIP. The CIP if your unfamiliar is the CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN (CIP) and likened to the Constitution of the City for capital improvements we are all accountable for paying for but have NO input unless its done just after introduction. This folks is great deal of money on…

Share this to your Congressman and your Senator... again. M~

This is a letter that Dr. Coburn sent to all of his Senate colleagues on the 27th:

9,000,000,000,000

Ways to Balance the Budget

Dear Colleague,

Nearly everyone in Washington agrees we must reduce the deficit, but few offer any specifics as to how to do it. Last week, I…

M'aider!!....M'aider!! (May-day! May-day!!)

B"H

As I listened to Neil Cavuto, I was moved to disbelief when he acquiesced into silence at the explanation of a congressman that a "Super Congess" was a good thing, to "free up" the legislators to tend to other business. Excuse me! That IS their business! Neil knows finances, but not so much in matters of republic. Ugh!!

It is a sad commentary when even the conservatives…

Rules for Radicals: 2012 Election

You’re ticked off by the budget and deficit deal. The old-guard Republicans caved again and took a few Tea Party people with them. So now what are you going to do? Sulk? Whine? Bitch and moan? Not me. There’s one thing about liberals that I admire. They never quit. When Jimmy Carter and a whole bunch of liberal Congressmen were thrown out in the…

FYI.

Over the years I developed the impression that Google was left leaning. I am currently researching the presidential candidates, specifically Michelle Bachman using Google for this example. I have heard that Michelle was being hit hard by the left. Not as hard as Sarah Palin. In “Googling” Bachmann I find I have to go 3, sometime 4 screens deep to find sites that I am comfortable with the thought that they might be unbiased. I know the internet search sites use a…

The Ruinous City Council Bill 2011-400 (Pension Funding for certain public employees)

Just more of slick & slippery tactics by your elected rep's...........this e-mail was sent to Council yesterday, and highlights the obfuscatory methods and obstacles erected to avoid or inhibit intelligent and sane discussion by the public on a matter that could simply BANKRUPT our fair city. Looks like we'll be needing a repeat of last…

Canadian Free Press: Speaking as a Hobbit

Facebook now has a page called Hobbits Unite!  I love it.  Talk about turning something around and using to the full extent, and apparently that is the plan.  At any rate, I thought you might enjoy this article written by a fellow tea party member from Gainesville and a fellow hobbit too :).

On Wednesday the “vaunted” Wall Street Journal ran an article titled “Tea…

Senate Democrats hold thousands of jobs hostage refusing to limit corporate welfare

Senate Democrats hold thousands of jobs hostage over their fight to save corporate welfare to major airlines. Senate Democrats, acting like financial terrorists, refuse to limit payment  for rural airport passengers to less than $1,0000 per passenger and to those airports more than 90 miles from a major…

Did Rep. Crenshaw vote in favor of the debt ceiling resolution? If so, is this Tea Party chapter going to begin a recruitment effort to challenge him in the 2012 primary?

A Sincere Apology is in order

Out here in America, we are watching the worst of the worst in our Nation’s capitol.  The debate between “both sides of the aisle” took a dive as our children watched adults scream, yell, throw fits and call the others names.  It was not just embarrassing; it was heartbreaking to…

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
